Teen Talk for Youth in Alternative Settings
Open-Enrollment Training
This training is designed to provide program providers working with youth in foster care with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver legally-compliant, trauma-informed and healing-centered sexual health education.
Teen Talk for Youth in Alternative Settings (Teen Talk YAS) is Health Connected’s newest curriculum designed for and informed by youth who are in foster care. Through the California Reproductive Health Equity Project, a statewide collaboration with the National Center for Youth Law and Planned Parenthood of Pasadena San Gabriel Valley, we have built an 11-session online adaptation of Teen Talk YAS specifically for youth in foster care.
Join us for a three-part virtual training to learn how to implement this ground-breaking comprehensive sexuality education course to ensure that youth in foster care receive this vital information for their health and well-being.
Participants in this training will receive:
-
Access to the Teen Talk YAS digital curriculum
