Learning & Evaluation Manager
Raised in California’s Central Valley, Hannah Lopez was drawn to the dynamic field of health education at a very young age. Her passion for youth advocacy and empowerment emerged in high school when she took a role as a peer educator for a teen relationship abuse prevention program. There, Hannah witnessed just how powerful youths’ voices can be when the adults around them believe in them – including her own.
More than a decade later, Hannah brings invaluable expertise related to program development and evaluation analysis to the Health Connected team. As a remote staff member seated in Fresno, she works to build long-term partnerships with existing Central Valley schools, health care providers, and other youth-facing organizations, prioritizing the well-being of young people.
Hannah studied Health Science with an option in Community Health at California State University, Fresno before earning a Master of Public Health at San José State University in 2015. She also holds a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification. From highlighting critical trends in youths’ gaps in knowledge to schools’ social climates, Hannah brings a unique lens in quantitative surveying and data collection that is crucial to the organization’s success.
Hannah is a passionate social justice advocate and is excited to work in the Central Valley, making an impact in the same region she calls home. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking her dog on walks, and exploring Fresno’s cultural and dining scene – including the Tower District.
