Andrew Guerra (he/him)
Health Education Specialist
Sexual health education has not always had a history of being inclusive and accessible, especially for LGBTQ+ youth. Driven by the memories of having to seek out sexual health information that reflected his identity, Andrew Guerra grew passionate in wanting to create an environment where students (at any age) can become driven to advocate for their own sexual health.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Andrew graduated from De Anza College in 2021 with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Science, Math, and Engineering. He plans on attending nursing school in the near future with hopes to continue the amazing work that Health Connected has done to further create accessible and interactive sexual education for young people and their families.
Andrew can either be found rollerblading in a local San Jose park or drawing cartoon faces of characters in his sketch pad. He is an iced coffee connoisseur and finds great joy in uplifting the people around him.
