Abigail Karlin-Resnick is the Executive Director of Health Connected. Abi has worked in youth development and education for 20 years. She began her career in Chicago, coordinating programs for underserved youth in the Uptown and Washington Park neighborhoods. She has since focused on building the capacity of organizations to achieve their mission, serving as the Associate Director of the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy and, most recently, as the Director of Marketing and Business Strategy at the children’s science museum, CuriOdyssey.
Abi received her BA in psychology with a minor in education from UCLA and her MBA with a concentration in Public and Nonprofit Management from Boston University. She also completed the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Education Improvement and Transformation from Drexel University. In her spare time, she serves on the Advisory Board of the Union of Reform Judaism’s Camp Newman and Board of Directors of Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School.
Abi grew up in the Bay Area and returned in 2006 after stints in Los Angeles, London, Chicago, and Boston. She currently lives on the Peninsula with her husband, two sons, a dog, and a fish.
