2020 Health Connected

Annual Fundraising Luncheon

EVENT CANCELLED

In light of the rapidly-changing nature of COVID-19, we at Health Connected have decided it would be best to cancel the luncheon scheduled for April 24, 2020, out of concern for the health of attendees and based on the recommendations of CDC and local authorities to cancel or postpone non-essential large community events.

Nonprofits across the United States and locally are being heavily affected by the current circumstances. Numerous nonprofits have had to cancel their spring fundraisers and for many of the organizations these fundraisers make up a significant amount of their overall revenue. We are no exception. As a small nonprofit organization, our Annual Fundraising Luncheon brings in much needed revenue to continue providing our vital services to young people across the state.

Despite our cancellation, the need remains. In lieu of our Annual Fundraising Luncheon this year, we have started an online campaign to raise $75,000 by April 3rd. We are delighted and grateful to let you know that we have already raised $33,500 towards this goal, thanks to a generous group of donors that have kickstarted our campaign with a special leadership gift. In addition, we’ve also received a commitment from an anonymous donor to match all gifts and pledges up to $10,000 through March 27th!

To get involved in our campaign here are a few things you can do right now:

  1. Find us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter to follow our campaign.

  2. Share this email with your network and ask them to follow our campaign.

  3. Share our social media posts with your network. Whether or not they are able to support our campaign, it is important to get the word out about continuing to support young people’s social-emotional development during this difficult time.

  4. Last but not least, if you are able to take action today, we would be grateful for your donation to help sustain Health Connected.

Thank you on behalf of all of us at Health Connected and the young people we serve!
