Teen Talk Adapted for All Abilities
Distance Learning Toolkit FIRST LOOK!
Join us as we launch the newest addition to our Distance Learning Toolkits, adapted for students with various learning and developmental disabilities. This event is designed for teachers and youth providers who have previously been trained to implement Teen Talk Adapted for All Abilities and will be implementing the course virtually this year.
The first hour of our FIRST LOOK event will provide an overview of Health Connected’s best practices for teaching sexual health education live online, examples of how to incorporate interactive elements that consider student safety and engagement, information on mandated reporting requirements and trauma-informed teaching, examples of asynchronous options, and considerations for parent engagement.
The second hour of this event is an OPTIONAL drop-in Q&A space to ask specific questions about the new materials and get more support as you plan for virtual implementation. We also welcome feedback during this time to help us continue to improve our DL materials!
If you have a group of teachers or youth providers that would like to be trained at once, we can customize our workshop for you!
